Theres nothing wrong with staying out overnight. In fact, make a weekend out of it, we do. My buddy and I have a couple huts, heated and sleep 4 in each. We drive up Friday night, and come off the ice Sunday afternoon, every weekend, Jan 1 to Mar 15, ice permitting of course. Sometimes theres only 2 or 3 of us, other time we can have 8 or 10 friends up for the weekend. Been doing that now for 20 years. It helps that he has a cottage on the lake for parking and storing the huts. Always better with friends though, theres someone to help keep you awake when the fish don't.

Every weekend for 20 years?
Must be catching fish?
Not asking for specific area - are you on a large lake or small lake? Do you move your huts around? Or are they 'on the spot'?
Must be amazing fishing for you and the team - do you ever try different places?
One last question - 20 years same lake - how has the fishing changed?
