My insurance broker advised me to use a different company then my home and car. It is more likely to put a claim in on a boat then a home or car because the lack of care on the water. If you bundle them all together and have to put a claim in then you run the risk of all your priemums raising. If it's with a seperate company then it would just be the primium on your boat that goes up. As far as cheapest just call around and get quotes

as well... depending on the year of the boat, many insurance companies want a marine survey... roughly 500$

Depending on the size and year of your boat, your home insurance might cover it.

I am insured under dominion. If you are having trouble then you can call an insurance broker. They find you a insurance company and the insurance company pays them for your business. All you pay is your premiums

No.. State Farm (Desjardins) covers all ages. Just better rates if older I guess. That is one good thing about getting old. My bones are starting to hurt!

April marine. Used to be called marine experts. As far as I know, they only deal with watercraft. That's who I use.
