Great topic. Yes it's time Polaris stepped up to the plate & addressed this issue! I had a 2012 500 HO brand new. It left me stranded on Simcoe once. Then I read on another forum about the cold weather starting issue. I sold it this past June with 412 kms. I like the comment about storing it from November till April. HA HA! Someone should cut, copy, paste, email whatever is the technique (I'm not a computer wizard) & send this post to Polaris! This should get their attention! My next atv will be a Yammy or Can Am. Oh tell Polaris I'm looking for a sled. Guaranteed it will not be a Polaris!

I've got a 2000 Polaris sportsman 500 and the thing is an absolute beast. It has never let me down once (even on that -35 degree morning on family day). Never had any problems knock on wood

Make sure it's not particle board or that recycled plastic that looks like wood.
