What relays do u have to pull to get them started. Do they act like there is nothing at the key. Mine is like that right now. And it is sitting in my garage

Funny you mention this, my friend has a polaris 400 on manitoulin island and it also will not start without a boost in the cold. But battery shows fully charged.

And in the summer it is like they are always running hot with the amount the fan comes on or stays on . Nice riding machines sure are brutal when temps drop .

change oil to a winter oil 0w40 amsoil,or equal you should be good to go some bikes have sensors in the crankcase that wont let the bike start without oil,and when the thicker oil gets to a certain cold the sensor thinks there is no oil therefore wont start.my grizz did the same thing.

This problem has nothing to do with oil and the relays arent popping from the stress. They just dont like the cold. Have the same problem with my arctic cat. I wanted to look for some relays that are rated to take the cold but didnt put too much time into it.

I use the same oil kevinbooth year round and all I will ever run . Also have a Yamaha and even this morning at -37 she popped and ran at first touch of the button . Where I often go in the back country there is no cell service or people and my bike is my lifeline and needs to start without question .

Never owned a Polaris wish I can give some input on them.
I may highly recomend Honda or Yamaha Atv.
Pulled all kinds of moose , deer , bear with my 1997 Honda Foreman. Runs mint !
Also had it out in Bear lake / Sprucedale area, -42 had it outside at Chris place after the three days of sitting outside turned the key hit the button and away I went fishing. I also have grizzly which I never had any issues with. On the Honda I just replaced Stator, rectifier , battery. Never been changed since 1997. Bike runs like new ! Oem parts are sure dam expensive!
