Ok so have been reading about guys with propane augers and love the idea. Problem I have is already have a collection of empty tanks from buddy heater and have no clue what to do with them.
Seems when I ask around no one knows how to dispose of them.
Don't want to just toss them in a bag for garbage guys to deal with. So whats the answer?

Just look it up on the internet.
Find your local disposal area for tanks.

X2 on refilling..buy the adapter , and fill from your 20 lb.er..works best with the 20 at room temp and the pounders fresh out of the freezer. You'll never spend 5or 6 bucks on a couple of singles again.

there is usually a bunch of them for sale on ebay and once in a while you'll see that at Walmart. Check TSC, might be something they carry.

Tractor Supply Company......they sell a mixed bag of items, but mainly cater to farm supplies and such.

You should be able to get one for about $20 wherever you find it.
