My buddy and I wanted to try some night fishing and see what it was like spending the night out on the ice and with the recent warmer temps we headed out yesterday around 4:30. Lines were down by 5pm and the action on the finder was decent. We ended up catching a 4lb 13oz whitey around 8pm the action started to slow. Spent the night having some pops, grilling burgers, and listening to tunes. We were even able to stream a few fishing shows on the IPad. Up early today and lines down by 6:15, first fish on by 6:30. A smaller whitefish probably 3lbs, released him because of a couple strange growths around his gills. Caught our 3rd and final fish of the trip around 8:30 this morning, a nice 4lb 2oz keeper. Seems like the March bite is on!
Tight lines everyone
