Fish4Dinner, yup.. I finally eat some!

Been catching a lot of fish in my life and really never wanted to eat any of it. But this weekend my brother made some whitefish and after hearing people say they taste good I invited myself over to try some.

It was pretty good! Still would pick Pizza over fish but I can understand why everyone love whitefish. Might just go get some more.... Just to catch not to eat! LOL

Instead of ketchup Franks red hot sauce does them justice!

I would rather eat fish than steak but it is a good thing I am not a picky eater because with my luck fishing this winter.... I would have STARVED to death!!

Walleye, perch,.and pike over white fish for me but I do like white fish its just not my favorite.....

I think whitefish is way overrated. Would take perch, crappie and walleye or whitefish anytime.

The meat is a bit too delicate and not as 'sweet' as the aforementioned fish.

Oh, and don't bother freezing it. Since it's so delicate and freezes terribly.

I was disappointed when i had whitish didn't like it ill stick to walleye crappie perch

Nice chunks! Im having greasy trout tonight with scolloped potatoes. Wife likes the trout more than me, thats great, i will tell her im going again all weekend long looking for more! Ha!

My favorites starting with walleye on a bun, perch then pike, whitefish.

Pretty big fillets but I think the smaller ones are bit tastier but thats my opion,I sure would love to come for dinner lol !!!....

there are a myriad of recipes for Wf.

For myself, I prefer to clean them well and take off all discolored meat from lateral line after zippering them

Then cut inot chunks or pieces and if frying up , quite a bit longer than say perch or walleye as WF are softer.

I don't freeze them either and have maybe 4-5 per season.

Much prefer perch.

But ya, stak is great also
