The buddy heater line is a good one. A three person pop up get the buddy heater. More then the little buddy but will do a better job. I use the little buddy in my 1 man flip over in -30 and it is awesome. I also use it in the three man pop up but I find unless it's pointing at you it isn't strong enough

I agree with the big buddy for what its worth. I love my unit. Its nice to have the option to blast that heat and have the hut warm as f"ck in a heartbeat. I usually only run mine on high for a couple of minutes or else my eyes start to dry right out fom all of the heat. Usually get it nice and toasty, get the coat off and get comfy, reduce heat and keep it at a good temp.

I'm for the buddy series.

Would like to identify that Sail has a similar product available.

Seeing we both just bought the same hut! lol

So the question is the bigger buddy heater or the small one?

I know they were both on sale earlier in the year and it would be nice to get the sale price.

my portable buddy works great in my flipmo 2 inferno. Usually only on low unless its real cold and windy.

I have a little buddy, it runs for at least 5 hours on a single tank, and as long as I bring along a small battery operated fan, it heats a fish trap guide 2 man flip comfortably enough that I have to take my coat off, even at -15. I imagine the standard buddy would be even nicer, but I'm happy with the little buddy and it's nice and compact, I'm going to use it in my duck boat In the fall as well. We where even heating up foil wrapped sandwiches on it yesterday!

Thanks for all the info I guess it all depends how many times you go in and out this will definitely affect the temperature in the hut but I'm thinking I don't need the bigger heater do to the fact that the insulated huts hold the heat better and some days its just enough to get out of the wind .
I have a propane light with stand I'm thinking I may just use that until the sales start it quick out some heat but not like a heater but I think it will work for now....
Thanks for all the advice..... Fishmagnet...

Hunting Buddy in my 949 (non insulated) works great... but seems to burn a lot of fuel.
