Lunker Trout Group: Members Posts: 331 Member No.: 7179 Joined: August 21, 2014	How big is your hut? My Portable Buddy heater has two settings, 4500 and 9000 BTU. I'm not sure if 3500 BTU would be enough for a big hut.

Adult Trout Group: Members Posts: 235 Member No.: 7603 Joined: December 19, 2014	I have one of these heaters and a 3 man pop up....the heater doesn't do much more than take the chill off. It is nice to have to warm up your hands or put right in front of you for some heat. In other words, it's not great, but better than nothing.

Parr Trout Group: Newbies Posts: 62 Member No.: 8394 Joined: January 15, 2015	I would spend a little bit more money and get something closer to 10k btu. You won't regret it. I love my mr buddy heater and wouldn't go any smaller. They have been on sale for 89-99 from time to time.

Almost as if it is their regular price to make you think is good deal. Ever notice that Sail has price tags on nearly everything? Including the items that are permanently on sale? I'd go with the other recommendations - buddy heater . . .

World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 5030 Member No.: 877 Joined: November 06, 2011	I was out yesterday and lit my single burner Coleman propane camp stove in the Eskimo 3 man. It wasn't exactly balmy but did take the chill of and kept the holes ice free. I would buy a stove rather than that heater----you could cook, or at least heat food and/or boil water.

You will see them on sale for $99.00. I also have a Mr. Heater that threads on to a 20 lb BBQ bottle. I've used it in my garage for over 10 years. Cost me $40.00 back then, they're about $60.00 now.
