Hey Db, any chance you'd be able to leave some Crappie for us weekenders? Now I know why I have so much trouble catching. They have all been sore lipped by you! BTW, great catch! Hope they taste as good as I think they will. Well done sir!

How do You know where to find them? 1 hole ?? Same spot every year or do you have other factors that you apply?
Haven't been many (if any) reports of crappy through the ice in Simcoe - or is it that everyone is focussed on perch/herring/laker/whity that overlooking the crappy?
And you throw back in some good size perch! Some people are having challenge targetting jumbo and you're catching them by accident! You keep just 1 perch for the cats - that's rubbing it in!

Ya these are my Speckles Harold! Lol I think Crappies are the best eating fish in our waters! Never a worm and never a muddy taste Imop and many who I have fed. Bluenote I only need one hole and my electronics are on my shoulders! Lol I know through years past the fish will be in this location. Stick to my slipfloat method once again, it doesn't let me down very often.

Db we have been pounding them for a few weeks now on lake x, only gonna get better closer to ice out. Was at the cottage for 4 days they seem to be stacking up early for the spawn.
