Went out with Fraser and Finsey.....to a special spot another board member put me on...so no I can't say where....humpback creepers were the lure of choice again.....Fraser got his two.....I picked up four Whiteys and then tried for trout...picked up two more whiteys.....then got this one in the pic....would have put back but Fraser wanted to smoke it.....had another trout on but broke me off....goodbye 20 dollar Vabrado!.....awesome day on the lake shooting the breeze with buddies and catching whiteys again...what a relief after last year....I had a huge stink going last year......so bad I started fishing Bobs favorite .....ppppppppperch.

Good report and photos.

Why is the trout wrinkly? Looks like already started to smoke?

Thanks

Well done guys.

Better day than we had out there. All I got is sore leg muscles from the long hard walk.

ATV or snowmobile gives you a more choice and flexibility than walking .

Should have stopped by for a technique lesson. I was the walker with the bayrunner setup just past you guys. Got a couple hits but didn't connect with anything. Walked in for some perch at 1

Guess i will remain a whitefish and laker virgin for another year, as don't know if i will get up again before close.

Looks like Dinky got his groove back. Nice catch thought you might of caught one of the now extinct leather back trout from the old days.
