I headed out today with Mydogbites-Robert, Furlong-Brandon
and Wilbur007-Myles. We met in the parking area just after 7am and were walking our way out before 7:30. Tough walk, poor track to walk on due to fresh snow and while the snow was hard in some places, it was quite soft in others.

It took us nearly an hour to get out a mile to 80fow.

There were a few fish around and we had various chasers and followers and quite a few "ignorers". I had the only hit on a spoon down 40ft, but no hook up.

Things went quite slow after 11am and we moved further out to 87fow and it was just as slow or slower there. We came back into our original holes and tried there for an hour--nothing doing, so we packed it in.

We were off the ice by 3:30 after a tough walk back in with a strong cold wind in our faces.

Still better than a day at home reading a book or watching TV.

My pleasure meeting you guys and thanks for the invite Ralph. Shame we couldn't get a commitment from the fish.
