Hey all, just curious if anyone has been up in the Matheson/ Lake Abitibi area? Looking for snow and slush conditions on the lakes and how much snow is in the bush. thanks

Sh!t ton of snow up this way. If you don't have a wide track sled or a big lugged track you better have a lot of energy to dig your self out. The trail from the 101 to Abitibi is always packed. I'm not sure of slush conditions first hand but from what I've been hearing there is a fair amount.

Your Welcome Jcraw. I Wouldn't be holding my breath about the snow situation I'm sure there will still be a lot around. And if it gets warmer that might not be the best because it will be heavy wet snow. I know the places around here where I go sledding the powder is close to 5 feet deep in places. Spots in the bush have just as much. So just remember the gas flipper is on the right not the left haha safe journeys!
