Hey guys just wondering if anyone has been out on the lake this week and how the travel is on the ATV's ? I am thinking about coming up on Sunday only if I can get around on the quad. I would be getting on the lake from Willow Beach and heading out to the deep water past Fox/Snake Island etc.... Is there any issues to worry about ?

Thanks

I know this isn't really helpful but a 4x4 pick up truck got stuck out there this morning. Saw a few guys pushing it to try to get it out. Not sure about atv's but I see enough of the guys parked there with atvs and they seem to be ok. Maybe they are a member and can shed better light on this tho.

Cheers.

Just got in,atv travel is okay as long as your giving it and staying on the top layers.i got stuck at a pressure crack and even a buddies sled could not get me out ,had to winch myself out anchoring to my buds skidoo.it really cold out and my battery froze .turn the key nothing, had to boost ,thank god I had cables.if you got stock tires or your atv doesn't have clearance good luck.my cat has a higher than average suspension and it felt small ,I went through a lot of gas and bring a shovel

Any fish?

Sounds like a tough slog for most ATVs.

Thanks for the report was thinking of taking the Atv out on Sunday but might reconsider it now. Hopefully the warmer weather coming will pack the snow down better.

I went out with my truck, was able to keep warm. Have good tires and knowing how to handle snow and drifts is a must.
