Just curious of the conditions to drive out from the Innisfil beach boat launch. Can anyone report on driving conditions onto the lake?

4x4 truck shoulds be good. Was there today and you could easily manage with a 4x4 + good tires. If you are not in a 4x4 truck, and more a import car driver like me in my civic... head to 9th line just minutes north. Free parking on the glass, and good depth range for the walking dead... like me...

Cheers

Just got back from there. Ice is solid. 4x4's no problem at all. Even saw a Ford focus and an old dodge caravan several hundred meters from the IBR boat launch. Was a few hundred meters out myself in over 50 feet of water and no bites with the simcoe spreader and minnows. might try my luck again tomorrow. maybe further north up the shore line.

hahaha.. we were watching your guys make a run for it. Not bad for a minivan. Good tires are key. Ya when you guys left we took down the shelter and open iced.. really nice end to the day even though we got skunked.

HAHA,
Could not resist parking the Honda civic on the ice at the beach on Sunday... Got in no issue, and surprisingly got out without much issue. Was the last vehicle parked on the lake when I made my mad dash up the ramp.

Sketchy looking slush, ruts, and puddles, but good momentum and winters on the front FTW!

Lol, I know at least a few spectators were watching me get ready to make my run, and thankfully I was able to rip through and out without the embarrassment of getting stuck!

Honda Civic Power!!!
