Well finally made it up to the 7th of Oro today. Walked out half way to the huts and drilled. 70 fow and marking fish right off the bat. I put a big swim bait down 20 feet off bottom and before i got me jigging rap to the bottom there was a fish headed up to my swim bait. Last 2 years i have had followers but no hook ups. I was shocked so i started reeling, it chased me up 15 feet and then the rod loaded up wow fish on my first one ever fishing like this got it half way up and the wieght was gone.CRAP it was gone marked a few more chasers and then nothing. walked in to 50 fow then 40 fow and nothing walked into 33 fow and had alot of schools and chasers who would have though 33 fow. Anyway thats fishing good day other than that brutal wind but it was nice to finally feel that rod load up on a chaser.

Happens all the time... Even with stingers they get off. But sometimes they will hit it again. So if it gets off... start reeling up again from where it came off. I had a few come off and hit it the second time. Those are a real treat.
