Hi Everyone,
I am very new to hard water fishing and started out this year on Simcoe and have caught the ice fishing bug. This week I'm headed up to Gravenhurst for a work seminar and figured it would be a great opportunity to bring my portable hut and gear! I will be walking out so hopefully I will be able to get out in the mid afternoons for a few hours.
I have been researching all the previous posts and gathered that walking out near Taboo resort may be a good option. Has anyone had any luck or previous experience in the southern portion of the lake near Boston Pizza? Are there specific types of structure or depths that you could recommend?
Also, is there a local bait shop in the area?
Thanks very much for your help, just looking forward to getting out there and trying to catch my first Lake Muskoka fish.
