fished at the very point and a bit further out and down the shore all depths... Fished a few hours and Managed 4 small perch and one very nice jumbo perch. The bite was very light... Green seemed to be the color. Lost one good bite on a tip up. Ice looked to be at least 2 feet thick but melting, some slushy areas for sure starting to show up. We saw someone land a decent looking fish right off the point. I think that was our last hard water outing for the year!

That side all the way up to the first point that comes out is a good area for perch so I hear. I thought you would nail them today but that's fishing ... Did you have a fish finder/if so did you mark any big fish? I used a 1" gulp shinner minnow on a tiny florescent green jig and some with a pink jig . Both days were good in the morning and slowed down after lunch.l know where I will be next ice season a few times for sure .I may try one day this week to get out if possible and will post with pics this time... Maybe next year we will see each other out there whether it be planned or not .....good luck in the upcoming soft water season!!! Fishmagnet!!!
