Looking to try a new lake this summer and was wondering where people have had the best luck in the past.

Thanks in advance.

Northern Ontario is pretty big, you may want to be more specific

Yes bluenote the lake i usually fish is scugog, but as you probably know there arnt many walleye left. So maybe rice or balsam? Or is there another lake you have had success with in the past? I'm not looking for your spots but just looking for a lake with good numbers in it.

Any suggestions will helps thanks!

Gods country - lake temagami. Be sure to bring a good map and spare prop! Fish the sholes, pay attention to the wind throughout the day, fish which wver one has been getting hammered all day long by waves. This pushes all the of the baitfish up onto it, be prepared to have a big enough set to troll into the 8FT mark. Gotta get right on those sholes, theres nice 12ft holes where the picks like to sit.I would advise taking a couple passes during the day with someone on the bow and mark the rocks in your finder if you can.

In past summers I've generally done well in Rice for walleye.

Sometimes boat sometimes shore fishing . ..
