Nice work. Did I you get them thru the day or in the evening.
3-6pm
Ive only been fishing 2 yrs and this is my first crappie feed, looking forward to this weekends dinner!!
That's a descent catch, you gotta love the buckshot rattle spoon. I have found one thing about Crappie. For best results I find to freeze them before eating. I discovered in the late spring a fishy taste to them. If frozen propr to eating it was removed. It is there in the winter, but not as bad. So I freeze them as a general rule of thumb.

Just being curious, how deep were you fishing. I was out the other in 17 fow, marking fish about 5 ft. above bottom, and others about 5 ft. below the ice. Never got a hit from either school. What colour was your rattle spoon? I like the glow in the dark patterns.

I find it funny how alot of people don't like their fish to taste fishy. lol
