I will get my fill of float fishing for pre spawn crappie soon. As soon as ice is out of marinas or shallow back water bays they are there. Creek arms usually are first to hold crappie. Especially on the north side of lake because they get just a little more sun exposure. My local dam already has enough open water along the wall to drop a float. But I am heading to mexico on sunday and will have to wait until I get back.
