I was out to Scugog Saturday and the ice is still a good 15 inches plus. We didn't see anyone else around which was strange. Maybe the extra strong winds keep everyone away. The fishing was really slow only managed a couple of keepers all day.

Be careful with the warm weather it really weakens the ice in certain spots where there are currents and springs. One place its safe and a few more steps and you could be under.

Thanks for the report I'm planning on going this weekend if the ice holds up, what were your keepers? Crappie or perch?
We caught two crappies and only a handful of dinks. I seen a large muskie cruise by the hole at one point. Maybe that had something to do with the slow fishing.
