Just as the title suggests I found goose lake on Google earth searched the web and no bites.. Mind the pun. Goose lake is near the Cambray area and is a secluded looking lake. I found one page with someone talking about the lake being haunted mysterious quick sand and a ghost horse and carrige. Other than that I know nothing about the lake and I am filled with curiosity.
I would really like some insight into this lake are there fish in it? If so what kind? Is it public I know it's a lake that would require a canoe. Anyone who lives in the area Or has been there before I would be great full.

There are maps that you can buy indicating the various property types. Haven't got one in front of me - but typically shows the historic lots laid out from about 150 years or so ago. Sometimes public trails are marked.
I find these maps are great - still better than phone or computer when looking at area for a trip.
The map I'm envisioning is likely produced by government of Ontario - great usage map.

As stated above the property is all private surrounding the lake. I have heard that it has dried out pretty bad and is just a swamp, judging from the aerial photo of the lake it looks to be that way.
