Headed up to the old mans tralier for are annually back lake trip
Day 1
Warm and sunny was a great day to be out on the ice but the fishing wasn't so great but we manage 5 lakers in the slot and 1 under we kept for breackfest. Marked lots lookers, chasers and sniffers but not many wanted to commit we were fishing 8-25 FOW
Day2
Out bed by 7:30 in need to catch a couple more to go with small laker we had.walked out and drilled a hole 15 FOW 20 yards from the camp. No slot on this lake and had 5 lakers in 15 min kept the 2 biggest all fillet by 8 and in the fryer by 8:15 now that's fresh fish yum
Met up with a friend of dads headed out for some brookies. Fishing 4-15 FOW my self and dad's friend both have sonars and not marking a thing. Dad doesn't have a sonar nor wants one but ends up with 2 nice brookies.
Day 3
My buddy comes up to join us for the weekend. Head off to our brookie hot spot we managed to ice 3 good ones a couple small ones and can't even count how many the 4 of us lost it was a great day
Day 4
We head back the lake we fished on day one hoping we could get the fish to go before we had to pack it in. Both dad and caught a brookie each and bunch of lakers out of the same hole 2 were over the slot which was nice.
Can't wait till next years trip here is some form last couple trips
