I saw a show the other night - 'Krappie kings' they were catching on avg. 1-2lb. crappie in the fall. I'm sure there are other lakes in the kawartha's that might produce the same way. I plan on visiting Bobs lake this spring. Has anyone ever fished this lake?

There's been 3 tv shows shot there last year that place will be a zoo come spring. Same thing happened to another lake that got a lot of tv time, getting harder to keep these honey holes on the down low these days.

This is the Bob's Lake north of Kingston right?? Not a Kawartha Lake, just to clarify. Go get some winter crappie, less competition, big lake though, good luck.

call me crazy but with so many lakes in the region I find it hard to imagine competition. I may never have to go there if some of the lakes that I plan on targeting produce as I think they will.
