Hey everyone I Hope you all have a great easter weekend. I will be hitting up Joe or Rosseau this weekend with my gf and a buddy. I was just wondering what the access points are like on either Joe or Rosseau. I have had some good luck on foots bay but I am not sure if it will be passible this weekend. Any Help or suggestions would save me a long drive up for nothing. I plan on trying to get on Joe first and if that fails hit up Rosseau. Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post a reply but anything would help.
Thanks
Redbeard

After today's forcasted rain fall, I would think twice before endangering your girlfriend and a friend.
Go alone.
Chance your own life. Not somebody elses
The ice may not be safe after tonight.
Good luck getting off if you do get on.
A few one pound laketrout are not worth it.

If you do go and you make it on and off safely... I apologize for what I said above.

I was out in the Huntsville area tonight - took my stepson and his buddy, and we got a good bunch of ling. No trophies, but it was fun.

There was at least 20" of ice. There's a few small, sketchy looking places where all that warm rain water funneled down through a crack or hole in the ice and eroded it some. Pretty good, firm walking, tons of ice. Sure, no ice is safe ice, but if you watch what you're doing, there's still lots of fishing to be had around here.

This board is starting to sound like my wife - "is it like, all open water out there now?" after a couple days of 10 degrees.

Let's quit harping on people and if you wanna stay home, do so and if you wanna fish, take some common sense and check your drag.
