Went out to Lake Joe with Jr and 2Ton and his son half Ton.... Started off in very thick fog......drilled first hole 40 ft.....walked a little further.....drilled 60 ft.....half Ton put his minnow down and right away small trout....put another minnow down....better trout....a keeper! Then I had a very hard hit.....brought up about a six pound laker....I'm not much of a laker taker....but I wanted to try a Muskoka laker......so I kept it....altogether I think the four of use caught nine trout!. The sun ended coming out and you could not have asked for a better day.......sitting on the ice with your kids in a sweater catching trout.....ice was very slushy on the walk in....the ice was very "soft".....I think a few more warm days and the ice will be iffy..... Cheers Greg and Jr
