I guess ice will be gone on Scugog by this weekend. Plan to take my boat and go some my spots.

Just wonder if Crappie are schooling now, or have to wait a couple of weeks?

We still need the first people to go out and determine whether they are schooling or not. Ice hasn't been safe enough to go out on but has been too much to launch a boat. This weekend will really be the first oppurtunity for anyone to find out.

Crappies pretty much always school ....if you mean are they stacked up in the shallows spawning well no not until water warms up a bit .....could be a week or couple days all depends on temp and wind . Ice pretty much gone on east side of lake so won't be long .....also water slowly rising so that will definitely help too ......cheers
