Crappie fishing use to be fun, close to home! Not any more.It has become a war zone on the shoreline's and in the water. Time to find a few more private areas far away from the MOB! Ridiculous. Sorry for the Rant!

I totally agree... Was planning on going again on Sunday but I heard its shoulder to shoulder. I was glad I had yesterday off so crowding wasn't a problem at all. Had one guy tho, when he saw me and a friend were catching, walk up the bridge and literally drop his bobber between me and my friend. He saw the frustration on my face after tangling our lines a couple times before he finally went to the other side.

Thanks we are bringing boats. How many rods are we allowed to use?
Only one this is Ontario. You need fishing licences too.
Do they need pleasure craft operator cards to either Ontario ones or equivalence from where they are from considering they are bringing their own boats? Regardless check the regs before you go out. There has been a lot of people being caught at the borders trying to bring more back home then they are supposed to have. Respect our resources like you would want us to respect yours.

I totally agree. Drove by the bridge at the end of simcoe road where it meets canal on Tuesday afternoon/eve. Counted 13 cars. 12 people actually on the bridge, and another dozen all within 20 yards of it. Just CRAZY. gotta find some private honey holes.

Well fido has been looking at me for weeks, with the wife nagging, kids screaming and cat clawing, me and my bud had enough of the mayhem. Went out to the Holland river for some peace and quiet fishing. That was a bad idea! Worse than staying home. What a ZOO! Someone throw us a bone, where can we go and not get rod whipped?. Fido was not impressed.
