so usually like on sturgeon last year i would say the starting time would be at 630 to get an early start. i was thinking that since weslemkoon is further a way maybe start it at 7 or 730 so that people don't have to get up so early to make the drive but then it dawned on me maybe people would rather leave earlier to get home sooner.

FYI- July 3rd is the Friday. We are actually fishing July 4th which will be the Saturday. I wish I can get up there for Friday night. I was looking at places to stay but seeing I am skipping out on Anniversary weekend with the wife to fish... I best just make it a one day thing and hope I will still save my skin.
oops. you're right. I think I had it in my mind that another lake would win and there for the tournament would be on the sunda. ok so hidden cove has an opening on the saturday, so if someone didn't want to make the drive back right away. they could stay up for a few days or what ever is free.
no worries Bostongeorge, thanks for replying.
And thanks Rileymac, i promise we'll do a week day tourney this year even if there are only just a few boats, my july weekdays are very open.
Sounds good buddy. I'm one of those bad guys with a 250 on the back... I'll take you out for a day and change your mind!

do u mean to say you're gonna show me some very very amateurish behavior to show me that if you're not a pro u can still have a 250? lol and don't worry. i do understand its not the size of the boat that counts but thesize of the fish

There should be a 100hp cap on all tournaments, it's not a race it's a fishing tournament lol

and it sure does make the victory sweeter in a little boat lol.
although I will admit it would be nice to get to the bottom end of the lake faster. my boats limit is a 75. if I got that, that would be enough for me to show all of these "pro's" up actaully I'd probably have to pull out of this tournament as my weigh scale only goes to 55lbs
