Not really looking for the best bait or anything but what type of success have you guys had fishing for mudcats (bullheads) with cut suckers as bait? Just curious as I have a sucker in the fridge. How do you cut it? I'd like to try on the canals.

haven't tried it yet, but saw a guy using sucker cut bait , he filleted the sucker ,left the skin on and cut it into chunks, let me know how you do .!!
