I am 14, just starting to get into fishing.
Just wondering, when do the bass open up?
I know not a lot of people are gonna give their hole but any streams or ponds where i could catch a little one?

i suggest you read through this document. Specifically the section on Zone 16. Also look in the "exceptions to Zone 16" and find Lake Simcoe.

Short answer is they are out of season until the end of June.
