Good Morning,
I am new to the Blind River area and looking for a place to fish from shore or in a canoe/inflatable raft. Also Since I just moved here someone to fish with and to show me some spots would be fantastic.

Thanks Dave

It is a beautiful spot to fish. I caught a 2 foot burbot from shore yesterday. Going to the kwik way today, Thanks for the name drop. I'm a new manager at the Lakeview Inn so if anyone is in the area and wants to go fishing stop in and ask for Dave.

Nice atch! Judging by the belly colour i would say you have a dogfish there, not a burbot. Will agree with others that i am jealous of where you live! Hope you have a great season and enjoy the new job.

Nice fish - any chance of a close up? It doesn't look like burbot - I caught a few last winter. I've never seen dog fish.

Blind river? Let us know how your fishing works out. Post lots of pics!!!

Fishing from boat?

If good area - perhaps could offer a promotion offer to fish area staying at your inn? That is when slow from guests for Cameco . . .

Thanks

Yup totally a Bowfin I had to look it up as I have never caught one. I'm only fishing from shore but look at the pike I caught yesterday at the marina
