Hey all, heading up the old'mans on june 30th for a few days(Sundridge), gonna be hitting a few of these nearby lakes. Looking for any advice for lake cecebe. Ive only ice fished it, and fished from pattle boat a few years back near the lock. Will be my first time out there in the boat, hoping for some tips on eyes. hopefully will also get the boat into pickerel lake. The retiree says he tried not too long ago but couldnt get it in (water to shallow), so hopefully it rises by then. feel free to PM me, and thankyou in advance. Happy fishing everyone. - will have the riggers on the boat, so open to any deeper spots also.

Try using 1/4 oz white jigs/chartreuse twisters, also tipped with minnows for the pickerel. 5of Diamonds or Red devil spoons still nail the Northerns. Your choice for the smallies, can't go wrong with raps.Ahmic lake is closeby, and the Big Mag is always a productive river, hope this helps.
I just came off the Mag last week some nice pickerel, using a straight shaft worm harness with a single silver blade and red beads.Nice Water wolves too, I got a cottage on Lake Vernon, just north of Huntsville. If your in the area try Vernon,Mary,Fairy,Penn,Doe and Buck Lake.

Is there any other lakes close by that we should try? With a half decent ramp? Will have 4 full days to go fishing so, were Really looking to get to a few different lakes.Hit a lake in the morning/afternoon and another for late afternoon/evening. Just dont want to waste tooo much time driving lake to lake for good ramps (deeper). Thanks again

Are you sheeting us ? Your asking about launches . You have been giving out lots of " so called " current info of late , on quite a few area lakes to fish yet you need info on where the good launches are ? How current is your info ? LOL The launches have been there since I was a kid . Something fishy here .

Dont quite understand what youre getting at. Yes i do have some info on some lakes up that way, just from "upnorth trips". Lakes like temegami, restoule, marten river, stormy, etc. Have no info on the massive amount of small lakes in and around sundridge/south river as still new to the area. Hes been telling hes been having alot of trouble trying to get the boat in the water in some of these lakes that we havent fished, just not deep enough, looking for half decent ramps. Dont mind driving around and finding things, but knowing of a few good ramps close by for starters is nice. Not too sure what exactly youre trying to say is all

I still don't get it either but since you know where the locks are then that's where you launch in Magnetawan to fish Cecebe and just below the locks to get into Ahmic . Or you can launch right in Burk's Falls and head down river to get into Cecebe . Your not going to find super launches anywhere in this area but just how big is this ship of your old man's ? Show us a pic of this ship and I'll show you a launch .

Sorry no picture of the boat i believe its a 16ft deep v, monark kingfisher. Its not even really the size of the boat, but more or less hes not comfortable yet with having to back his truck right into the water, still making him nervous.Yes i know of cecebees launches are pretty good, he also heard that theres a guy on pickerel lake that will put your boat in the water with his tractor for $10. Could be a longshot question, but do you know if hes reliable?
