We have always done well on wicksteed for walleye just be careful lots hazards to look out for but just go slow and take it easy and you should be OK.... Jig with minnow and colors that worked best White,orange, and pink jigs..... The other two lakes mentioned can be productive as well......

forget Tildon for walleys.... we have a camp up there and in the last 20yrs the numbers have dropped to almost zero. We only got one all summer in 2014. They have stocked it with lakers in the last few yrs bass are getting hard to find too.

what is the best way onto wicksteed, is there place one can drive too and setup camp. |Heard good this about this lake. Been fishing north of thunderbay, now looking to find somewhere closer. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
