Minnows

Any body know where the cut off to bring minnows on to Nipissing is. Can you bring them up from Jacobs south of Orillia or do you have to be further north say Huntsville.

Found that you get better scoops south of the lake than on the lake.

Any help with this will let me spread my fishing dollars around.

You can buy minnows in Bracebridge. The VHS border is in Gravenhurst. Jacobs would be in the Lake Simcoe only region. They are not enforcing the transfer of baitfish by anglers. Only the bait dealers are affected.

Thanks I am picking a bud up in Gravenhurst on the way up so will stop in bracebridge or Huntsville to get minnows.

The minnows we have up here came from the same source as the ones down there. For personal use you are allowed to bring up 10 dozen per person from down there. Same VHS infected minnows wherever you buy them.

Yep, except you are not supposed to purchse them from a dealer, but catch them yourself.
This whole fiasco is so stupid!
