Decided to head back to the cottage this afternoon on Lake Vernon, just north of Huntsville. Got tired of catching pike. Wife and I decided to head into Doe Lake in Katrine, just north of Huntsville for some green and gold. Launched at 7:30 pm,both trolling with a worm harness double silver blades and double gold blades with several red beads. Puffed up the Dewey's with some air and trolled in 15' water about 3' down.
Wife got first one, second one, third one. I said time to change it up! We anchored the Zodiac and started jigging with 1/4 oz fireball jig with yellow twister bodies. My turn, fourth one, fifth one ,sixth one. Fry pan time! She was happy I was happy. Now I am going to look at a new gun I have had my eyes on. Happy wife,Happy Life, and she was Happy! (L.O.L.)

Hey TD, You are bulls eye right! This red machine has been mistaken for COMRA on the high seas! (LOL!) This one is a 14' with a 15 Evinrude 2 stroke, Nice lake you have, been fishing it and another nice back lake you might have fished Axe Lake for about 30 yrs.

Yes I know that sinkhole Axe lake too and killed a thing or two in those parts and they weren't fish . LOL Drop by sometime and over some pops we can fix all the world problems , catch all the fish , and harvest all the moose and deer left .
