We usually fish Lake Simcoe in October but this year we had to change our trip to mid-September because of accommodations. How is the perch fishing there in September?

i find the perch schooling up nice in kemp bay about that time ...locations seem to be weather related ....by that i mean a warm fall means warmer water temp and a cold rainy fall means colder water temps...usually i find them deeper 45-60ft in september ,but have also found them in shallower some years ....but once you find the massive schools ,the catching is on ...so look in the 24ft range and if you are not finding schools then move out deeper ....at least thats how i do it ....hope this helps
