what type of boat do u have ? If you are launching at the dam be aware of stumps , i took my old 16ft bowrider to the launch in omeemee and had to turn back after bumping some stumps in the channel , headed up to emily PP where it was a bit better
As for fish there are decent largies and a skis mixed in , if things get rough switch to a wacky rig

Be prepared to fish in a pile of traffic. With the park and popularity of pigeon in recent years it has turned into a zoo out here. What used to be a quite place to fish it has become not so enjoyable anymore. Also there is a CSFL bass tourny on this weekend so it should be even more hectic with fishing pressure.

Thanks a lot guys! We have a 17ft bass boat heading up tomorrow morning so hoping to beat the weekend boat traffic , going to target crappie bass and skis

launch at Emily park, well worth it. Decent launch and tons of parking To miss the boat ride in the very poorly marked channel. There is a reason that very few people use the launch in Omemee. It is a great launch and free but still rarely used because nobody wants to do it twice. Also lots of people launch at the bridge by Emily, sort of a man made thing but still lots use it.

Had a decent day! Next time i will definitely be launching at Emily park tho ... omemee launch was good but getting out to the lake from there was a bit sketchy at first , fished the lower part of pigeon and the mouth of the river and nailed 14 larigies and 2 walleye fun day!
