I have been fishing on the tri-lakes for 3 years now, mostly Chemong as that is where my house is, with very sporadic luck as to landing Walleye. I grew up fishing in the Quinte area where trolling is the name of the game. I have heard from many people about rip jigging here in the Kawartha’s. Just curious if anyone else has found this to be a more effective way to fish Walleye.
Any tips, tricks or pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

In all honestly I'm the furthest thing from an expert. But rip jigging was not my cup of tea. Didn't have the patience for it. Had a lot more luck drifting and just pitching the twisters into the pockets as we drifted towards them.
I know a heavier set up (for a better "rip") would have made a difference for me.
