hopefully you can join, unfortunately we have some people backing out or switching to maybe's stuff happens though.
payout is 100% and is dependent of the entries. 10 boats and over pays out to 3rd place and 6-9 pays out 1st and 2nd and I really hope this doesn't happen but 5 boats and under is winner takes all minus the big fish of course. big fish fee is included in the entry fee in all.
2 people MAX but not needed per boat. hope this answers all of your questions lol
Just the live well question....My boat has a livewell with a pump but not an airator.? Txs I learned alot .
Is it a Legend boat? No aerator - just constant slow filling / draining of livewell . . .
I'm no expert on it yet - constant adding of fresh water may be better than using same water over hours - where waste / blood not removed . . ?
Thanks
Very true and plus u get to keep the fish at the same water temp as the actual lake water.
Only flaw is with my legend for eg. It's 4 feet wide and holds a LOT of water so if my first fish in a tourney is a small one I am potentially slowing down my boat like crazy with water weight and it might only be just to hold that one small fish.

Not this tourney though. 4 pounders only lol
That's a small amount of water. Sounds like you need a larger engine!
Having water 'load' in front can help get to plane quicker. And also stabilize for faster travel with passengers in stern . . .

Nah it really doesn't slow us down THAT much i exaggerated a bit but i do notice a change in gas mileage plus i already have my trolling motor batteries up there so more then enough weight up front for sure lol . Was more saying it as it seems a bit much to hold a small fish.

ok so we have a couple of days left and it looks like unfortunately there have been some people that can't make it and some people that are now a maybe, so our good turn out is dwindling a little.
i'm still going regardless so even if I have to have a one on one show down with my partner I will be there any way lol.
ok so right now confirmed I have the following teams. any one else please update me if anything has changed.
beers (maybe) dirtyrottenbaby (maybe) Bigfishlil/ Topwater (maybe, would be more probably if can start at 3:30) fish4dinner/ Thanh (maybe) EJ B (game time decsioin) Andrewckayes (probably not)
as for the times. one team is much more likely to make it out if we can start it at 3:30 and I fell 3:30-8 seems short to fish. I know most here wanted it until 8 so if 3:30-8:30 is to late then we will just leave it at 3-8.

Thanks fishmagnet. I don't find it to be to much work. It was a bit at first but now that I have a table and scoreboard and scale it's getting easier. Yes the hardest part is trying to get everyone that's on different schedules and walks of life onto the same one for a night of fishing but it's for the love of fishing and by no means "work" lol
I love fishing and I am competitive and so when you combined the two it's great , and to be able to do so on a playing field where pro's that fish the lake every day aren't there makes it that much more fun.

zuperalexu will be joining me on Rice Lake. We're both rookies and neither of us know the lake but our enthusiasm should make up for that. Looking forward to it.
