Well with the high water temps etc I decided to put the Musky rods down for the morning and go bass fishing. There were a few tournaments on the lake and bass boats everywhere. I hit a new spot that looked good on the Navionics and worked it super slow. Weedless stick-worm barely moving it. 10 bass 2 lb + between the 2 of us. Just about to leave and BOOM! 23 1/2" personal best Largemouth. Rice Lake largemouth in decline? Phooey.

I measured it on a Handlebarz bump board I use for Musky. I don't have a digital scale unfortunately...but my buddy estimated it at around 7lbs as it appeared to be an old fish and was not as fat in the lower belly as it could have been. It had the largest head of any bass I've ever personally seen in my life. I'm going with his estimation of 7lbs
