Had the day off today to do a little Bass fishing. Started off at 8 fishing some shallow pads that usually produce numbers of fish in the morning. Not much going on in that area today. I'm sure it was a busy weekend on the lake, also there was two tournys this past weekend, so maybe a little pressure was on that spot.

Decided to work some docks. I was able to pick up a solid 3lber and a 4lber off one stretch. Ran around best I could in my little boat and ended at 1pm with 5 decent fish and a few smaller ones. 6 inch senkos flippped around docks, and I caught one over 3lbs flipping some matted weeds with a creature bait with a 1oz tungsten weight pegged with a bobber stop. I found the fishing slow overall, but not bad results after the lake was likely beat up over the weekend.

nice fish Scro, you sure know those tri lakes.

where were those on opener beers?

i'll give my day off report too, but since my phone isn't working and i can't add my pics theres no point of writing a report. i'll just borrow Scro's lol.

went to rice yesterday with my bro, was going to go to 6 mile but didn't want to wait for the PP to open at 8.

we mostly fished the otonebee, caught a few decent bass but nothing to brag about, we each lost a muskie and I caught a walleye in open water by litterally casting my crankbait as a joke out towards my bro who was swimming out in the open water. wow those walleye don't seem to get spooked when people are swimming but if i was going for them i wouldn't get a bite.

PS all my old spots on rice suck now lol

Ya. I converted it into a livewell with recerc pump. Its a safe place to put a couple decent fish while I get the camera ready for a quick picture. Also its great for my early spring crappie outings.
