Oro Line 9 Boat Launch--Burl's Creek, Boots and Hearts this Weekend

If you are planning to use the 9th line launch this weekend, keep in mind the Boots & Hearts concert is on at Burl's Creek, all weekend. They are expecting 70,000 to 80,000 people.

There may be lots of concert traffic and congestion in the area.

I'm not sure how it will be, but I just thought I would let you know there is the potential for congestion on Hwy 11, Lines 7, 8 & 9 as well as the Ridge Rd.

If anyone was in the area today, they may be able to add to this.

Went from the 5th to the 14th to launch at Carthew bay today,and there was a HUGE OPP presence in the said areas. Few party goers walking around to.

Traffic was a little busy around the 7th and 8th.

Wow sounds like a great party....

But not so quiet and peaceful for fishing.

One more month of summer fun and then the fall fishing begins..

Maddie & Tae Win First Place At Boots & Hearts Festival Fishing Competition!

Maddie & Tae show off their prize fish in this new shot from Instagram.

“So we did the Celebrity Boots and Hearts Bass Classic fishing tournament today! The only girls to participate got 2nd place overall and 1st PLACE for biggest bass!” the country duo announced on Instagram.

Maddie and Tae added, “I [Maddie] caught 3 and Tae caught 1 and it was the BIGGEST bass of the whole tournament! Shut up & Fish boys #smallmouthbass #canada. Tae‘s fish was 5.7 lbs!!!!! I caught 3 and the one I’m holding was 4.5 ”

Later in the day, Maddie and Tae hit the stage to play at the 2015 Boots and Hearts Music Festival held at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds in Oro Medonte, Canada on Friday (August 7).

Lots of Tournament boats out yesterday. Pretty sure we saw Eva Shockey in a boat close to us yesterday.
