A buddy and I are hitting up pigeon tomorrow. Neither of us have ever seen the lake before or know anything about it really lol. Should be a fun day. I'll be sure to post if we catch anything. Happy Friday!

Well.. my sleeping schedule is officially messed up... Lol I gt home around 5 and layed down on the couch for a "quick" nap.... Just woke up at three in the morning and I have a full nights sleep under my belt..... Not good lol...

Anyways on to the fishing . We got on the water around 7:30 am when we planned on just after 6. (Buddy was late:p) we knew nothing about the lake and we launched off mallard rd. Down on the south east side of the lake. Public launch. There wasn't a single vehicle there when we launched or pulled out which was nice. It was very weedy and shallow down there and thought "hey, if I was a bass , I'd be chilling in there." Well nope, not a bite. After an hour or two decided to start heading north stopping at promising looking spots . Was in deeper water just off a big weed bed. Bam , first fish and big fish of the day. 3lbs 5oz . Stuck around there for a bit and nothing else. We found a new spot that looked real good so we threw anchor (wind was picking up quite a bit). All of a sudden a white boat was coming straight at us moving pretty quick and getting close. OPP. They pulled up beside us and did a check on us. Very nice people, joking around with us, we had everything we needed. After we wouldn't give them our bag of chips they moved on . They didn't check the people in the nice bass boat beside us... Which we thought was odd. Maybe they checked them earlier ? Fishing continued to be very slow only landing a few very small bass and rock bass. Decided to call it a day. Always a good time on the water and can't wait until next time ! Probly Sunday haha .

Thanks for sharing.

I've only fished it once in a boat my self and didn't do to we'll either. I know it is stacked with fish though if u can find then.

I blame your friend for sleeping in for ruining the morning bite for u guys lol

Pigeon is a fun lake to fish when I was in school at Flemming College in Lindsay I would go there ALL the time amazing crappies and walleye in spring, good bassing early in the season and muskie trolling in evenings I miss the good old days!

Terrific report!

Any bass over 3lb is a winner in my opinion!

Thanks
