In the spring I purchased two manual cannons and asked for advice on the installation. Thank you to everyone for your comments. Not a huge challenge but very limited space to work with. I am pleased to say they are finally installed and here is the photo as requested.

Great!
Appreciate the photo showing the location - I wouldn't have thought to install there - well out of the way? Do you have a swim ladder on the stbd side?

Yup that was the obstacle on the starboard and the fuel tank filler was the one on the port side. I chose the swivel mounts so I could go swing them to the side either way the boom reaches past the ladder.

The Lund compartments where filled with foam so there was no room for a piece of hardwood. I found this place in Barrie although they have other locations called Metal Supermarket. I purchased two plates from them from aluminum. They cut it to size for 15$ for the set. The risers and mounting brackets came from Sail when they had the 15% off. The hardest to find was the stainless steel bolts and nylon nuts. I found them at TSC. The entire project was easy to do once the location was found. Good Luck I might add that you may have to look for the screw heads I had a couple that lund had well hidden into the carpet. I know what you mean about drilling into it the first one hurts.
