Had the pleasure of my Father-in-law John on my boat last Friday night. I really wanted him to catch a nice big largemouth so I took him to my new fav spot. I decided to cast for musky and let him have the weedbed to himself. Well earlier that day I nailed a nice walleye on that spot on a musky bait - 2 weeks ago caught a 7lb largie there. The spot provided a nice break from some decent wind that had the lake chopping pretty good. Second cast to the current break and BAM - 35" musky. Unfortunately I think the fish were scattered off the bed with that wind and John didn't get anything of any size. My son caught a real nice largie on the way back. I caught the musky on a top raider - my son got the bass on a stick worm. Here are some pics:
