You can make the traps by yourself in to time. Theres is a bunch of guides on youtube.

You can eat it just like lobster, some people eat stuff from the body, but its not for beginners lol. To clean them i usually put crayfish in a very salted water for some time to get rid of crap from the guts.

I don't know if I would ever get around to trying it but it is pretty interesting thats for sure.

I guess i'll give it a try, there are plenty around here. But i'm not sure if they're big enough for eating. Every time I set out a minnow trap I get plenty of crayfish as well, but just toss them back in.
Maybe the big ones arent able to fit into my trap. I'll widen the holes and see what I get
