Heading up on the 27th for the weekend. We booked with South River Resorts but I believe their ice bungalows are located on the eastern shore of Lake Nipissing's South Bay. Any tips or advise would be appreciated.
Thanks!!

Bring Orange jig heads. Thats what they seemed to be onto most when I was there a week ago. Drop shot and a minnow worked with a nice light fluro line 4lb or 6lb and you should outfish ur friends. Although a 22lb pike was caught outside so it may not be a bad idea to set up a heavy line The perch were big! 10 inches was the average size for our hut over the weekend. There is also, believe it or not whitefish being caught there. The huts are on 32ft of water so sonar is always nice to have. The bite is hot and cold so bring beer and pay attention to you line when anyone gets a fish on because the fish seemed to always be in pairs.

Also stay away from braid! My buddy was using it all weekend and got skunked. Maybe he sucks or maybe its the braid but I wouldnt risk it
