can you mark waypoints with handheld gps ,? on simcoe i am tecnology challenged any feedback or advice greatly appreciated

Depends if your handheld takes way points. Generally, the handheld devices don't care if on land or water for way points.

do you have a feature for Man over board ? I use that to quickly mark a spot then go back and rename it later. I have a Magellan HH and it works fine out there.
